Sit.Breathe.Calm was created by Alison Leigh, MFT, CMT to help professionals become more mindful (aware, focused and present) at their workplace and also in their lives. Our mission is to provide you and your company with the skills and training to keep you connected and grounded while still maintaining your bottom line.
Our Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programs plus our Emotional Skills Training Series has been very successful in providing people with day to day applications that has been proven effective in alleviating company tension as a whole.
Alison is licensed in the state of California as both a Clinical Psychotherapist, as well as and Executive Coach and Trainer. She also has trained extensively in Workplace Crisis Management, Psychological Stress, Psychosomatic illness, PTSD, and work culture apnea. While working at CPMC, Stanford and UCSF, she was able to implement a system of connection that allowed Physicians better access and communication with their patients.
My part:
While working with companies (both large and small), I get the chance to observe what it is really like from a day to day perspective. What I find intriuging is that I never get tired of learning. Every company does it *their own way* and so it shall be. I’m not here to change anything you don’t want to change, but more so to be your ally in figuring out *how* to do better business *and* how to do it mindfully.
My contribution then, is to find out *how* you are doing what you’re doing and help facilitate the process making it more seamless, effective, and current to the culture of your business.
In other words, I provide consultation and feedback for you *about* *how* your company is running. Meeting the bottom line is one thing, but having integrity and keeping up with individual ethics is another.
My goal is to a) find out about you and what your needs are, b) assess the condition of your structure and process, c) implement change and/or re-balance work flow to the degree you want, and teach mindfulness and conscious business tactics that are useful for your competitive edge.
Conscious business is a new language, but really, as a Psychotherapist specializing in the dynamics of an interdependent dyad, I am pleased to find that there really are changes that take place and I’ve found the greatest success is when you and your company are happy.
