Alison Leigh Siegel, MFT, Executive, Coach, Mindfulness Therapist, and Organizational Psychologist, created Sit.Breath.Calm after her years as a Corporate Massage Therapist for Silicon Valley Companies whom were stressed out. In fact, she was one of the first small companies in 1998 that served companies like Google and other start up with a handful of her own massage therapists. Keeping with the calming trend in the workplace, after she graduated and obtained her California License as a Clinical Psychotherapist, she decided to take her clinical skills and mix those with her massage background and create a company that could offer both mind and body services to companies who needed more than just a good rub on the back. Her Emotional Intelligence Training series is unique and has been said to be “one of the best around” since she combines her expertise in knowledge of the mind/body connection with that of a deep foundation in human behavior and the human factor as it is applied in technology. Alison has worked for over 15 years helping executives to calm down and center themselves. All too often in business haste makes waste and important decisions are made based on reactions instead of responding. Ineffective communication styles and poor business practices lie at the top of the list for which is why it is so important to teach employees the right etiquette at work from the beginning.
